Today was the premiere of HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2 in asia on Disney Channel. the celebration was truly awesome. it began yesterday as i have mentioned. and the party continued today. at 12 pm this afternoon, Disney Channel Re-broadcasted High School Musical 2 Dance Along followed by a special programme, High School Musical Around The World. in this programme, hosts Vince Chong and Nikki Gil introduced songs from High School Musical which were reproduced by other Artists around the world. Didn't manage to catch this part but the songs were heard to be awesome. They previewed "what i've been looking for" in Spanish, "breaking Free" in french, Polish, German and Asia's version. It was totally awesome.

then the party continued at 5.30pm. 2 back-to-back episodes of Suite Life of Zack And Cody featuring the High SChool Musical Cast were re-broadcasted. Mainly Vanessa Hudgens, Monique Coleman, Zac Efron and Ashley Tisdale who is a regular in the series. Before that, i think they also Broadcasted an Episode of Hannah Montana featuring High School Musical star Corbin Bleu.

at 6.30 pm, they continuation of High School Musical Around The World, Part 2. By the way if you want to watch in on youtube, you won't be able, you will only find the US version which High SChool Musical cast toured London and spoke about their favourite moments filming the first movie. Totally different. so For this part of High SChool Musical Around the World, again vince Chong and Nikki gil who host apologised for Alicia Pan's absence due to her recording her first debut album in taiwan. By the way, the three of them were the ones who sang the Asian Version of "breaking free". moving on, they previewed another version of "breaking free" in spanish, another version of "what i've been looking for" in Brazilian, and Lilo and Stitch Version of "we're all in this together", it was so totally cute, they were chorographed exactly as the movie version.

then at 7pm, disney channel premiered 3 new episodes Road to High SChool Musical 2. This time were the profiles of Ashley Tisdale, Monique Coleman, Lucas Grabeel. then followed by a long sequence of The Best Of Road To High School Musical 2, basically the recap of the entire series. in between each episodes, High School Musical Cast appeared informing and keeping the suspense of the premiere of High SChool Musical 2 in moments time, and also kids predicting what will happen in this installment of High School Musical .

then 7.30 , the time for the premiere of High School Musical 2. it began with High SChool Musical cast appearing again telling the viewers that the wait is finally over and the movie is about to start, enjoy.

i won't tell you the whole sypnosis of High School Musical 2 movie, you can find them out yourself on the net. but i must tell the television version and the downloaded version of the movie were totally different. The songs for the television version were entirely different, most of the time to match the lip-synching of the casts. and the songs were louder and sounds clearer than the downloaded version. if you are wondering, most of the songs in the movie sounds very different from that of the soundtrack. they were more fast-tempo and not up to beat with the casts' singing. And although the songs have been sped up, still the movie durated for 2 hours, from 7.30 to 9.30, maybe because of the commercial breaks.

in between the show, they also announced some wonderful programmes coming up for the rest of the year.

Season 2 of Hannah Montana will air on 6th October, Season 3 of the Suite Life of Zack And Cody will air on 3rd November, Television Premiere of the Pixar Movie Cars will be aired on 23rd November. after High School Musical 2, they also aired an exclusive sneak peek of season 2 of Hannah Montana.

during the breaks, disney channel had this commercial informing the viewers that there will be an Encore Telecast of High School Musical 2 on 15th September. this time it includes the US premiere party Event along with the movie, and 16th september, there won't be a sing along, i will amend that on the navigation bar.

also, after the movie on that day, they will premiere the Asian reproduction of High School Musical 2 soundtracks by local artists.

also on that day before the encore telecast of the movie, from 5 to 7, there will be a Saturday Premiere of new episodes of Kim Possible, The replacements, Hannah Montana, American Dragon Jake Long.

so Mark the calenders everyone because 15th September is a day that you don't want to miss. Watch Disney Channel, channel 33, from 5 to 10pm. All the premieres and encore telecast of the most anticipated TV show of the year, High School Musical 2. You better not miss it.

oh, by the way, 30 september, confirmed the Dance-Along Version of the movie premieres. it's on Disney Channel Asia website.
