Really? are my posts that hurtful? I apologise if i was being to frank here, because after all, this is Me-At-All.

Okay, so here is what happened recently...

saturday didnt post because I went to Yang Zheng Primary School for mentorship programme. I was pleasantly surprised how the kids embraced my presence with so much love... OMG, s mooshy now... I guess I have always been good when it comes to kids, don't like like them, don't like hate them either. When I am around kids, they always like having me around. maybe because i have past experience with kids, and i did relly well to entertain them. and I am likeable, who can deny that!

so the whole weekend, I didn't touch any school materials. I truly believe that academic education should be done in schools and should not be extended beyond that. Anything that has to do with academics, leave them at school, once I am at home, I have to carry out my own form of education...

today I found wilmer's wallet. oops, i just broke the code of this blog. oh well, I have to... technically it wasnt me who found it at the first place, someone else did and he didn't want to be disrespectful by peeking into the wallet. So i did, and first thing i saw was wilmer's face... How can i possibly go wrong with whom the owner is... then he hugged me for returning the wallet, oh how sweet...

last weekend, i spent it watching the entire season of True Beauty. It's a show in America that will never be shown in Singapore because of all the censorship problems and moral values. True beauty is created by Tyra Banks (YIPPEE), where 10 people who selfishly think that their the most perfect human beings physically, come together to compete to become the most beautiful person. What they don't know, the competition is not only about physical beauty, challenges are put in place and their steps are watched every single time, to see if they are truly beautiful person on the inside.

I like to watch this kind of shows because i like to see beautiful people looking stupid in front of cameras. I also like to imagine myself being one of the beautiful people and putting myself in their shoes... It doesn't to imagine myself having a good body because heaven knows how ugly my body look like... lol

    Superstars of Dance
    Saturday, March 28, 2009

Last post, I was very frustrated by what I saw on Votefortheworst. This post, I am still going to show frustrations.

There was a show on NBC called "superstars of Dance" not too long ago, it was a dance show produced by nigel lythgoe and simon fuller. well, mostly nigel lythgoe i think because he produces a lot of dance show. Dance teams from 8 countries (China, India, Russia, South Africa, United States, Argentina, Ireland and Australia) come together and compete for coveted title of Superstars of Dance.

Okay, that is just the brief description. This show is very different because there is no voting system from the public, it all boils down to the judges to decide who wins the title. Sometimes, you may think that the judges are always right, and that public voting is always a problem to talent shows. True. However, judges are imperfect creatures themselves.

Watching the show, They made comments about how the dancers are not putting in a lot of dance elements into the choreography. Seriously, what are the dance elements you expect. Not every dance should have the same techniques. Different countries will have different elements in their choreography, dance is not universal, dance depends a lot on what the country exuberate it itself along to the music.

furthermore who are they to judge whether the dance is weak when i believe they can't even do half of what they do. Saying that they have seen other people done it, they can do better, technically they are the same, it all depends on the energy put into the choreography. I believe that judging dances should be all about the energy, emotions, fluidity and synchronization that the dancers put in. They should not judge on technique, tricks and what should be in the choreographty unless they are a professional in it, if they can actually show or have done it, proving that they could have done it better.

still watching the show, and i was really frustrated by what the judges say, " i want more, there's no dancing". Seriously, how much more of dancing do they want? How are they to judge dancing when they don't even know the culture of dance in that country? Stupid judges...

As of Times-Chambers dictionary, Dance is the movement to music. so if the dancers can move well to music, they are good dancers. If they can put in techniques into those movements, they are better dancers. But who to judge that their dance is inadequate when all along the judges are only focused on their own field of dance.

okay, talking too long. I'll end now.

    Stupid Americans
    Friday, March 27, 2009

I just don't see why people always say bad things about people when it's clearly untrue. Sorry this has nothing to do with anyone I know.

I was reading VoteForTheWorst and I read how people showed anger that finally bar singer Sarver gets kicked out of Idol and Simon was quick to give him the boot. After which they turned their dagger towards Megan. For freaking sakes, Michael is out, so beat it. Is it their fault to get eliminated? NO YOU IDIOTS... IT'S ALL YOU STUPID AMERICANS WHO DON'T WANT TO SACRIFICE YOUR ALREADY FAILING CURRENCY TO VOTE FOR THEM. So what is the big deal that Megan's fans voting for her to be in the competition? Her fans kept her save, so is it your judgement to say that she doesn't deserve to be in this competition. If you want her to go out, go spent your non existent income on your idols.

And who are you to say that she is a singer. Why must you be so stereotypical about singers. Just because they sing like JENNIFER HUDSON or CARRIE UNDERWOOD, they are called singers? singers are not limited to one type. Megan's style is a new form of singing which evolved very recently. Look at how many singers out there who has the same style as her, Duffy and Adele. And where are they now? THEY ARE STILL ALIVE AND EXISTENT. They even make it to the charts with their singles, Mercy and Chasing Pavement. Why you doofus don't get her singing style because all the themes given to the contestants are difficult to twitch such that Megan can make full use of her potential. Once again, everything boils down to the producers. And don't you say bad things about her, I believe that the other contestants are not any better than her. Megan is different and a change, and You americans want change, why dont you accept a change in the music industry. Why? you guys got F***ed up after the elections? Can't think straight, can't make your own judgement, must have someone to spoonfeed you with facts and opinions to change? S***w you. Megan is by far the most different contestant that exists on Idol, everyone else are trying to be like past contestants... We already have them, why do you need another same voice to be lead the competition? They have failed, do you think that current contestants will make it big?

Embrace Megan, because she will be big in the future, she makes the Music Industry vibrant with her special singing style. We have many lil' rounds and danny gokeys in the industry, we don't need another same voice to continue torturing our ears...

    Weekday Special
    Monday, March 23, 2009

haha, it's very rare that you are going to get weekday posts... this is because something is bothering me and i need to share with you...

when you own stuff, do you feel that you develop some kind of... I don't know ... a relationship i guess. It's like you feel like you know that things are meant for you and you feel that it is right for you. I don't know how to describe it now, because I am all jumbled up because i am doing my holiday homework at the same time.

Anyway, like i said, I developed a relationship/feeling for my things. When things get lost, I often call out their name while searching for it. most of the time, it works. It works like when you call a dog and it comes straight to you... It is just one of the quirks i possess. it's really weird when i do it in front of people, they might think that I am going cuckoo...

last term, a lot of people know that I lost my water bottle, it looks like the one at the bottom here. while tracing my steps and look for it, i kept repeating "my bottle" all the way, haha it's really weird. anyway, I didnt find it anywhere i went that day. I was very devastated, for real.

Then i went to the cafeteria to meet up with my classmates, and i told them what happened, and when i said my bottle, there I saw a few tables away, this bottle came into my view... then i just took it from the table. I always take things that look like mine even though it's not mine or it's mine. at first I noticed a lot of anomalies with the bottle, but i kind of ignored it because I didnt observe my bottle that much, so i wouldnt know what it looked like to be exact. And then i kinda pasted a label on the bottle, to acknowledge its ownership.

After a few weeks then, I suddenly felt that the bottle is not mine. There is this weird feeling when i use it. just today, when i drank from the bottle, I felt very weird doing it. then i looked all over the bottle, and noticed more anomalies with it. Then did I realise that the bottle is not mine, because I don't get the connection that i get when i used my bottle... I wanted to put it back on the table for the owner to collect it. I kinda felt bad for the owner because he must be very frantic when he realised the bottle he obviously brought with him suddenly went missing from the table. Now, i can't return the bottle because I have vandalised it...

so the learning point is to let go what you have lost, finding it back and worse getting something that's not it will make you feel very weird...

    Extra Extra
    Saturday, March 21, 2009

You guys know big of a fanatic I am for Dance programmes... after every show, i will pick one choreography and actually learn it by myself... haha, just for your information...

Okay so right now I am watching Dancing With The Stars Season 8 and I am so far satisfied with all the choreos and dancers. My Favourite is of course Chelsie Hightower, I love her since she appeared on SYTYCD 4. next in line is Tony Dovolani, however I am kinda upset with the producers for always giving him all the problematic partners, can you give him someone normal to dance with for once... HAHA, anyway, it is still the beginning of the season, and I am sure I will get to see more amazing choreos... btw, the waltz for this season is kinda bad, so I am not too happy with the show... but I can't wait for tango and paso doble...

Speaking of SYTYCD (so you think you can dance), a new season is coming up this year. Season 5 can be expected probably by the end of American Idol 8. You might have known that Nigel Lythgoe, ex executive producer of AI, left AI for good to concentrate on SYTYCD, and I really think that he will produce a really good season since he has time and ideas on his side. Often, those time and ideas are always sucked up by AI, but now that he's gone, look at where AI is going... It's a really bad show now...

After SYTYCD, I will be treated with another new season of DWTS. yes every year, DWTS will screen 2 seasons, like what happened last year. I am really hoping that they will get more SYTYCD alums to join them and hopefully develop a larger contestant population next season. 13 is not enough... and remove the dance-off, they danced it bad once, dont make them do it again...

Okay... so dance aside, I want to criticise AI8. haha, you will know how big a fan i am over AI. well, not for long. I am getting sick of AI by the week. Every season, they try to make the show interesting but putting in weird ideas. Stop naming themes every week, let the themes be country/rock/rnb/hiphop/pop and not grand ole opry/rocknroll/some weird people's songlist. Stop with all the shenanigans of crazy introduction, weird endings, sing off, saves and weird intro videos. Stop with the crazy paula non sense, stop with all the randy "yo dogg, you got to give me dog, you got to think out of the box dogg, you got a power voice dogg, you got to gimme more dogg, dope dogg." really, your first vocabulary is dogg? what your mama feed you dogs every morning till you look that big??? and Kara, what in the world is she worth for? another few minutes wasted on her comments, another few minutes for us to "get this show done and over with for crying out loud". Simon, well he is the most entertaining abt the show, it should have been simon as the only judge and rename the show "Simon choose the idol". lastly,
GET MICHAEL SAVVER OUT OF THE COMPETITION
GET ADAM LAMBERT OUT OF THE COMPETITION
GET DANNY GOKEY OUT OF THE COMPETITION
GET LIL ROUNDS OUT OF THE COMPETITION

those 4 maybe the crowd favourite, but they are typical crazies... Michael savver, no matter how charming you are , you are no way going to make it big in the music industry. We have enough big guys in the scene, we don't need another one to put the whole scene above the BMI.
Adam lambert is a joke, he is a crime to be in public. he takes the show as a joke, he should stay in theatre and should not be let to sing as a career. and He is ugly and weird...
Danny gokey, I don't know what people see in him, he is no where a good singer compared to past contestants. He is just a face that the Idol producers are making use of to earn money. Many people has had their loved ones dead, but they don't make it public so to earn votes...
Lil Rounds, just another ordinary puppet. People say that syesha is ordinary singer but she makes it into the top 3, so if the judges think that she is one of a kind, then she can win the competition, dream on dogg... Lil rounds is no where comparable to mary j blige, she is a diamond in the rough, where as Lil she has such a big booty, it's like a jelly bean among the rough...

lastly, these are the people whom I think is worthy of your votes:
    VOTE: MEGAN JOY CORKREY
    VOTE: MATT GIRAUD
    VOTE: ALLISON IRAHETA

These are totally the ones worth of your votes... they are the artistes that people want to buy albums from and listen to... They are current and young. the ones that people want to follow after...

oh yeah, AI made a mistake by picking jasmine murray and not Jesse Langseth, she would have made it so much further than that typical chick. BTW, Jasmine was picked because they have to maintain the black contestant ratio... and you would be seeing a lot more lil rounds until she gets into top 5, again because they cant continue the show unless they have a remaining black contestant in the competition.

    Stationeries

So people are expecting to write something this week, and 5 minutes to saturday, blogging day.

This week, i had to attend freaking Project Management Workshop. I slept late the night before at 3 am, and woke up at 7 am... haha, how cool am I? You are wondering what in the freaking world am I doing so late? well, let me tell you, I was watching movies, a lot of movies... SLumdog Millionair, Marley and Me, Twilight, and a whole lot more... yes, it's Movie marathon... HAHA

Okay so project management was BORing, with Capital BOR. It was crap all the way... I won't criticise the workshop, but I will criticise the implementation of PW. I don't know why in the world there's so much emphasis on PW? it's just another subject which have completely no necessity to be included as A level subject. Teamwork, research, knowledge, creativity, don't we get enough from having to go to college? I have no freaking clue what I am talknig about now... lol

The workshop was all about doing somethings to make the gorup porject file look thicker, look messier, and look more disgusting. Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla, that's what i get from the workshop... Then there were intermissions where we did all these crappy games... sit, stand, clap, cheer like a crazy hooligan. then again, clap clap bang bang, smack smack, point point and ATTACK!!! er... soo much for fun being kid again... THe most fun was when we had to role play as one of the characters in the team. Everyone either chose to be uninformed, bored or angry... Seriously guys, you only know thes kind of people, there's a better place to go to... that's the mental institute. So i thought of being different and I did attention seeking... And guess who did I do? haha, no further details required. Everyone burst out into laughter and other groups were looking at us. HA, in your face you boring losers... after that, it was more BLA BLA BLA, clap clap, bang bang, attack!!!

one thing that i find really creepy is when girls eat more than i do. there's one in my class who is really really creepy and scary and terrifying, yeah it all means the same on different scales. It was lunch during the workshop, she bought a plate of carrot cake... wow, she ate them real fast, then she stood up and bought another plate of meat wrapped in some kind of flour paper or something... man, she was quick to gobble it down, and i havent even finished my plate of mixed rice. then she stood up and bought a glass of lime water, that wasn't so bad... then another friend, couldn't finish her liver fried rice (or was it beef fried rice, i don't know, the meat was sliced like liver), and this friend finished it up... WOAH!!!! Shocking... and after lunch, i got her review of the lunch, and she said that she wasn't satisfied yet, she still wanted to buy Mee Siam... WAHHH!!!!! seriously, have you ever seen this kind of person, haha, sorry to make this sound so bad... but there's more, after that, she started asking people if they want to eat dinner... WAH!!!! seriously, we just finished our lunch, and it wasn't like half an hour after that she asked that question... it was like five minute walk from the food place back to college. she should be acknowledged on RIPLEY'S BELIEVE OR NOT, for one I can't believe it myself... then dinner, i went out with her... she was pretty alright, not as shocking as lunch lol...

haha, if you are new to the blog, you would've realised that i write long posts... you'll get used to it.

this week is also my "crazy for stationeries" week. Just last week that I went out to buy stationeries and cost me $15+++, that same day of the lunch/dinner, went out to buy more stationeries, cost me another $15+++, and just yesterday i went out to buy more stationeries... another $15+++ gone with the wind... How crazy am I? i bought so many things in bulk that I can actually open a stationery shop myself... so the next time if i see a stationery shop and you are around, tell me RESIST TEMPTATION, NO MORE STATIONERIES...

    Pissed
    Saturday, March 14, 2009

This week was an example of how I went beyond my limit. I was trying to be very fun and everything but it appeared to be mean. I am very sorry to everyone who were insulted by my shenanigans this week.

Aside from that... this week was pretty boring... nothing interesting happened. Except that our class was a finalist for talent search in NY. It was organised by the student council, and if you havent known this, I resent the student councillors, they are just fakes who never think about others but themselves, living in denial and liars.... I never support the effort by student councillors and never will be a student council. If people to say they want to be a student council, I will tell them no, if they insist, I will them SCREW YOU... haha i wasn't literally that way, but you get my point when i talk to you....

Our class was one of the finalist for a talent show with a stupid name THE ONE. Freaking stupid name.... and people have to pay $2 to watch the show... how stupid is that... STUPID. I will pay $2 if it is life and death situation, but $2 to watch a freaking lame show with cheesy dialouges, i'll pass. If i were to enter for free, I will, but to pay... SCREW YOU... haha... anyway, our class was second and they were good, however i don't like how they sang the songs, the song choice and the people in the band... haha...basically, the whole band is wrong... but second is way too good of a recognition. So it just shows that all talent shows are nothing but popularity contest, unless professional judges make the decisions... Anyway, there are only 4 band finalists, and the whole competition is not popular at all... whatever position they are in doesnt matter, after all the competition stinks... Of course, I wouldn't say all these in front of the people, i will say it like this, "OMG you are second, congratulations, you guys were awesome, sorry I couldn't come, I had to do things..." YEah, that's wad fakers do, and apparently I am good at faking... when I'm on the blog, I let go of myself... Student council reading this, too bad for you... Teachers reading this, yeah I don't like student council, live with it.

enough said, so much hatred for student council is enough for you to ponder for this post....

    CCA
    Saturday, March 7, 2009

This week is pretty boring... lessons, after lessons, after lessons. Last week, I did presentations, this week is all about research and essays... YES!!! I've completed PI and MRP!!! haha, while the rest are still struggling with theirs.

This friday, it was the release of A-level results... it was definitely nerve-wrecking for those who had to go through it, or maybe not... next year, I will have to through it myself. I have to do well for CHINESE! I don't want to retake the exam again... NYJC I have to say has done fairly well. many f the students got As, and the most shocking part is that even with one A, you can be one of the top scorers. haha....

On friday, it was the start of my cca. It was really embarrassing because there was only 2 guys in a group of 15 girls... haha... and i had the urge to leave, but i want to learn something new. I tried going for sports, but i wasn't meant to do sports. Okay, it started out with a lot of stretching and stretching, and till now my whole body aches because of the stretching... I've never stretched like insane MR flexible before, and I have to say i am shocked that I managed to survive that. So we did hip hop, and it was super girly. I was expecting something more masculine kind of hip hop, but want can I do, the instructor is a female... duh... people have been asking me to show them the choerography, but I have never performed in public and people have said that when i dance, it just doesnt look like me... haha, but let's see what happens as the final product...
