Heard the song by all these all time fantastic singers called Just Stand Up. It's a theme song to promote STAND UP TO CANCER this Friday in USA or Saturday in Singapore and the region. It's a night of singing event to promote cancer. And I watched these commercials and I was touched by everyone standing up to cancer, literally. And I am telling all of you to stand up to cancer not only this saturday but every other days too, all of you who had struggled with cancer or see anyone who has cancer, this is a day to tell you to stop fearing cancer and be strong. Cancer is not the end of the world. Your life still goes on and cancer will not be an obstacle. Be strong and stand up to cancer.

Okay, like any other bloggers or people promoting this event will share their stories. Well, I am no different. I have seen people taken away from me by cancer. My grandfather died of lung cancer when I was primary 2 and I cried for 2 whole days... I was so sad because my parents will come to visit me with my grandfather to go for medical check up. But ever since he left, they didnt come to visit me until it's holiday. I was also very close to my grandfather, we spent our time together a lot and we laughed a lot. He shares a lot of stories with me and I was very happy. This was all because he smoked. He got lung cancer because of smoking. So lessons learnt, dont' smoke, don't go near smokers, don't think smoke.

A lot of stars will grace the event and many performers will be there to make the night more interesting.
