Final Stride To Freedom

Okay, today is the final paper of week 3, in a nutshell, I am very happy with my effort this week. I felt that all my effort the whole year trying to improve in SS and chinese will really show this time around.
Monday was SS, and I have to say that it was both easy and hard. SBQ i have to say is fairly difficult because although the questions were direct, however the sources are hard to interpret. There were points that were hard to comprehend and it's hard to link the evidence to the question. Well, that's in my perspective. I was really happy with my SEQ. So the three topics that came out are Governance, the cliche Sri Lanka and Northern Ireland and Iran-Iraq war. So obviously there weren't Globalisation and Venice, the top two topics that many would be spotting, so all those who did not prepare well will have a hard time. I have been studying governance all my secondary life and I am glad that it appear as one of the questions. and they werent hard to understand at all. The questions were predictable although I would have expected more of Healthcare and Managing Population. So the 2 main concerns that were asked as the Methods of traffic control and Principles of Governance. Thank goodness i have had enough practice to be able to understand the familiar questions. However, I was stumped when they asked which of the principles of governance is the most important. Obviously all of them are equally important, however all these while I have been thought to only choose one, so I was in a dilemma. But I have to say all my other points were very satisfactory. I managed to use statistics and examples in my essays and I managed to finish it. I was so glad that I prepared well for governance which many students weren't going to do. Many chose Sri Lanka and Northern Ireland and from the buzz, many felt that it was rather hard, so yeah I thank my lucky stars for governance.
So today is my second attempt to do chinese. And I must say I am relieved that I was able to understand the questions and that I wrote faster than before. For Paper 1, I followed what my teacher suggested me to do and I have to really thank him for telling me that. I did "informal letter" and "the suggestive question". Well, I decided to them first of all because I think I can find the points much easier and that I do not want to screw things up again like mid year by choosing the popular questions. For paper 2, I was really happy that it was much much much simpler and easier to understand than mid year, again. Although I am quite shaky with the close-passage, I am happy with the open-ended comprehension. I think I could find the points quite fast and accurately, and I risk my time by writing as much as I could. It was really surprising because I could finish the paper despite wasting my time having to go to the washroom halfway. So overall, I am satisfied and confident that this examination will make me proud, at least an A2 is enough.
Chinese marks the end of written examinations, while others still have to worry about Literature and Geography. Now I am spared 5 days to prepare for the MCQ tests. And I must really work hard for the physics because I need it bad to pull up my results for that subject.
Okay news Update, OBAMA won. Congratulations and hope that he can keep to his words and bring the much needed change soon.
I just found out that disney is going to release the Sing-Along Version of HSM3. It will be so weird when I watch the movie and all of a sudden someone sitting next to me sing aloud to synchronise his voice to Troy's. Anyway, I really want to watch HSM3, the sing along will be a plus.
XOXO
