Just saw the trailer for Singapore Idol... Seriously, i wonder what kind of delusional beings would want to audition for this nonsense popularity contest?

This show is slowly turning into a disaster with all the changes and revision to the contest format. It started out good because they finally found real talents in a bunch of nameless auditionees. However, as the years pass and the show growing larger, people are gettin sick of this consistent search for fakers and imposters who tries to be fantasia or Kelly clarkson. They are trying to screw the show by voting for the worst, hence the dawn of votefortheworst.com. clearly, they tried to minimist the possibility of this happening, they changed the format and it turns out to be destroying the whole essence of the talent contest, it is now all about of gaining popularity, superstardom and fame. if you wanna do that, there's an easier way to do it, which is sextape. if really they want to seek out for the best singers, the people should be given the entire chance to pick whose the one, the judges and talent scouts should also have their say. or else, it would just happen to go downhill like AI right. Heard that Paula Abdul and kara dioguardi may not return, Simon is sick of the competition, and only boring and insignificant randy is confirmed to continue for at least another 2 years... oh well, they might as well shut down the entire project now that it's falling apart...
