WOW!!! been catching up with my tweets today?!

I went to ChunkFest and it was freaking AWESOME!!! The day started with me trying to get my SMS twitter to work... Apparently, it took an hour for an SMS to become a tweet, but it was all worthwhile...

Then i was trying to find an outfit for Chunkfest... The theme was 70's and man was I glad that I couldn't find the outfit...

1) I went to COMEX2009 before to chunkfest
2) 90% of the visitors of Chunkfest was not even in the mood for 70's
3) I look like the 90's, pretty embarassing enough...

And then met Elle at Kovan (travelled all the way there from S'goon MRT). Apparently she wasn't dressed for the event too... but her attempt was close, and actually she looks better than I do... Ate lunch at this japanese/korean food outlet at HM... very familiar place, forgotten the last time i was there...

The she decided to go to Comex (yes that's is not COMET). She wanted to buy a DigiCam, because hers was spoilt long ago. She borrowed from her friend for the day. And man when she has a camera in her hands, it is impossible to remove it... ARGHH... she kept photo-ing me and the floor and the ceiling and her shoes, and the floor...

At Comex, it was crowded as hell, but Elle believes that it is not as crowded as expected... wait till she is the exhibition halls, it was so crowded, you are sure to be able to smell the person next to you... Went to every single digital brands to look for cameras, there are really cool products that almost made me buy a digicam... Anyway, decided might as well research on the number one product on my wishlist, SAMSUNG JET. and WOW.. I found out the price from the parent brand is $638, and that from Singtel is $248... I was like... WOW!!! at that moment... it made me want to withdraw money from the bank and make immediate purchase... but i have decided to wait and make use of my brother's Motorola Razr... maybe it could end up $100+++, or a better smartphone may be released...

At CHUNKFEST, finally... it was at Marina barrage and it is a really nice place... you have to be there to know the mood and atmoshpere... You can do many things there... you should especially go when events are taking place there... So we go around the barrage and see what's in store for visitors... really cool stuff, especially the gallery... WOW, that is like the dream presentation alternative. Then we went to the rooftop garden and indeed it is a garden, or park to better put it. it is all grass and you do pretty much anything there, just make sure your items don't drop into the reservoir or the sea.

We got there and we were offered to buy BJs ice cream... it tastes really really good, never had one before so it totally is a pleasure to sink my tastebuds into the ice cream, or cream because it started to melt in the hot weather... WE bought yellow brick and choconut... yellow brick has many things there, hard and crispy like bricks and indeed it is yellow in colour. whereas Choco peanut is like the expected flavour, it's chocolate and has the taste of peanuts, though wanted it to taste more peanuts... then we went clsoer to the stage and watched all the cool musical performers... really liked this band which performed 70s inspired songs... and then saw a drunk couple dancing... so funny...

Waited waited waited for the main musical performers JacknRai... meanwhile more music and the Muttons were the hosts for the event and they were insulting and funny... Then they were walking around doing audience activities, then there was one point when they were doing PA system which people can say anything... They specifically pick out couples... technically me and Elle werent a couple, but a guy and a girl sitting together may get people to think that they are a couple... so they were like standing right next to us... and we were really nervous they would turn the microphone towards us.. LUCKILY, they did not, but i pity this real couple whom the muttons picked... they were like playing with his words such that he would answer badly... FUNNY...

At Chunkfest, met a few familiar faces... didnt make much conversation because I don't want to make Elle feel left out. Then while going home from the Event met a classmate... don't think elle realized.... I felt really bad because he was like calling out to me, I looked back and acknoeledge and he was expecting me to say something more. That look he had like he anticipates a conversation, I rejected it. I feel really bad... Should have said something more than "Hi... Jo..." Damn, now I feel like a proud peacock...
